Justin specialises in reputation risk management. He chairs Hemington Consulting in London, renowned for handling challenging and sensitive issues. His clients are leaders operating in complex regulatory and political environments, requiring experience and careful handling.
Over the past eight years he has worked on Saudi Arabia’s transformation, helping reshape Saudi Arabia’s global economic and cultural influence via the Future Investment Initiative (FII), establishing Saudi’s new Ministry of Culture in 2018, and launching KSA’s Research Development and Innovation Authority.
He also supports the political and business leadership of forward-looking global cities including Denver, Colorado and Jacksonville Florida and is retained by sovereign wealth funds to handle complex reputation risks across their investment portfolio.
Justin also advises charities and faith organisations across the religious spectrum, including Christian, Muslim and Jewish organisations. In 2018 he supported the ground-breaking campaign to change the law in the UK to open up access to specialised medicines for children with clinical need.
Justin is a sought-after commentator. He has been published in the UK’s leading political newspaper, The Spectator, which used to be edited by Boris Johnson. He writes for The London Magazine, the Catholic Herald, Aspects of History and he regularly appears on television on GB News.
Prior to founding Hemington Justin spent 12 years in the British Army commanding tanks, deployed on peacekeeping operations in the Balkans, and carrying out influence operations within 15 (UK) Psychological Operations Group.
